Cubs Run Club | Sunshine, Sea Air & New Faces ☀️🌬️

Another Monday, another golden evening at Watergate Bay.
This week’s Cubs Run Club saw 11 of us head out along the coast, soaking up the sunshine (and braving that classic Cornish wind) on our now well loved route to Porth Island and back.

The vibe? Super relaxed. With 4 new faces joining us for the first time, it was a really easy going crew, a mix of regulars and first-timers, just out to enjoy the views, get moving, and have a laugh.

The Route & Run

We stuck to the usual plan, starting from the top of the coastal path above Watergate Bay and making our way along the cliffs toward Porth Island. The sea looked incredible in the evening sun bright, breezy, and full of energy.

We kept the pace steady, clocking in at 6.59km with an average of 5:56/km. Not bad for a social run with plenty of time to stop and take it all in.

Mid-Run Pause

We stopped twice, once for a quick regroup and chat, and again for a group photo out on Porth Island. That’s what this run is really about enjoying where we are and who we’re with.

Same Again Next Week

Cubs Run Club is back next Monday at 6:00pm, meeting at the Coffee Cabin at Watergate Bay. It’s free, relaxed, and open to absolutely anyone whether you're local or just down on holiday.

See you there.
